New ATFX broker review – 2021 Update

ATFX is an award-winning online broker that offers forex trading, CFDs, and spread betting. ATFX is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which means the broker must adhere to strict regulations such as client fund protection. The broker’s headquarters are based in London.

Due to the regulatory requirements enforced by the FCA, ATFX keeps retail client funds in segregated accounts. This means that client funds are kept separate from company funds and cannot be used for reimbursement by ATFX creditors, should the company be unable to repay their debts.

ATFX has received multiple awards over the years, including Best Forex Customer Service 2019, awarded by World Finance, Best Forex CFD Broker 2018 at the UK Forex Awards, and Fastest Growing Forex Broker, Europe at the global Forex Awards in 2017.

ATFX UK now has approximately 1,200 customers and accounts for roughly £7.5m of customer funds.

Trading Platforms

ATFX used the trading platform MetaTrader 4. MT4 is highly customizable and multilingual; it offers a clear fee report.

MT4 offers over 50 technical indicators and 30 charting tools. The platform offers automated trading using EAs (Expert Advisors) as well as 9 different timeframes.

MT4 is also available via WebTrader, which has its own advantages, such as one-click trading, real-time customizable charts, and of course browser-based trading which means you do not need to download any software. MT4 is also available on mobile for both iOS and Android devices.
