New Investous broker review – updated July 1st, 2020.
Investous offers CFD trading tools for consumers across a variety of diverse assets and groups including Forex, Indices, Stocks and Commodities. Investing is made simple with its user-friendly platform WebTrader.
IOS Investments Limited owns and operates Investous, which is located at 5 Cork Road, Belize City, Belize. The firm is now also regulated (and licensed) by Belize’s International Commission for Financial Services.
The transition to licensing in Belize has previously been regulated in Europe through CySec and is seen as not quite positive for traders.
Investous provides a variety of feature-rich trading platforms. The web-based WebTrader platform is user-friendly, and the MT4 platform allows smooth mobile trading, providing users with the ability to make trades in real time easily and with precision.
To help traders make an educated decision, each of these sites comes with valuable indicators, tips, and advice. The following Webtrader interface shows some of the functionality the site has to offer. The tick boxes ‘Closing at profit’ and ‘Closing at loss’ provide additional risk management options. Effectively these are rates of ‘Stop Loss’ and ‘Take Profit.’
The active spread between buy and sell rates is seen, giving traders the opportunity to engage in trading on the most favourable terms. Traders may also monitor their total exposure before opening a trade, since the overall value of a new trade is displayed at the top of the trading area in the asset bar.
The chart provides many technical indicators and resources, as well as the ability to to validate momentum or trends by switching between timeframes.
Traders at Investous are given a wide variety of different assets and markets. Users can select from more than 250 different financial instruments across a variety of different levels. All is on offer at Investous, whether it is FX trading, CFD trading, commodities, stocks or indices.
Spreads & Commission
The benchmark EUR/USD spread floats at approximately 2.5 pips. Withdrawal fees apply at 3.5% for debit and credit cards, and a 10 EUR maintenance fee is applicable regardless of whether any transactions or trading activity takes place. Although other brokers offer slightly better spreads, Investous does not charge trading commissions.
The maximum leverage allowed on Investous Forex transactions is 1:30. In accordance with the new ESNA (European Securities & Market Authority) legislation, this applies to all account rates.
Investous has a smartphone trading app that is available for both Android and iPhone. It can be downloaded from the iTunes store and Google Play store, and is about as sophisticated as an app for mobile trading can be. It provides users with most functionality found on the web-based platform, including mobile charting, account management, live chat and one-click trading. With an intuitive interface that is easy to use and high flexibility, the Investous MT4 app makes it as simple as possible to trade on the run.
Users will be given a number of ways to finance their Investous account. There are credit cards, debit cards, wire transfers and Skrill. Deposits of credit and debit cards are processed almost immediately, while wire transfers may take 2-3 days before funds appear on the account. Withdrawal processing times can also take 2-3 days, and may take up to five working days in some cases. A 3.5 per cent withdrawal charge applies on credit cards.
Investous provides a free trial account that allows users to trade free with $100,000 in virtual currency. Demo users get access to the same apps and levels as live accounts. The Investing Demo Account is a good way to train new traders and allows seasoned traders to test out the Investing Platform and decide whether it works for them. To sign up for a trial account, users just need to send a name and email address.
Deals And Promotions
In addition to competitive spreads, Investous also features an Education Centre which is designed to help improve the trading strategies of newcomers and experienced traders alike. Users have the opportunity to mirror the techniques of professional traders and gain advice, hints and tips.
Licensing & Regulation
Investous is now governed in Belize by the IFSC, which is a downfall from their previous protection under CySec. This makes them particularly less appealing to European traders.
There are a variety of features, such as the Economic Calendar, which help Investous stand out. It serves as a timeline for all of the relevant real-time economic news. This lets users keep an eye on any possible incidents that could trigger extreme uncertainty in the market. It allows the consumer to capitalize on developments in the market by forecasting the results of particular news events. A live chat feature elsewhere is useful for communicating with the professionals about trade ideas.
Investous Account Types
Investous provides 4 different types of account: Basic, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. A minimum deposit of $250 is expected for a basic account, and spreads of 2.4 pips apply. Maintenance fees are suspended from Silver and upwards, and users are granted access to a set of higher-level educational resources. Users of Gold and Platinum can enjoy free withdrawals, and users of Platinum can use minimum spread.
Investus offers pro accounts, too. They lift the limitations on ESMA, allowing accounts to enjoy higher leverage (1:200) but also lose negative balance protection. To open a pro account, certain conditions must be met for traders to show their expertise and the money they have at their disposal.
Investous is completely supervised, and investments are secured, providing total peace of mind for users. Furthermore, the platform offers powerful tools for consumers in both WebTrader and MT4 mobile trading application form. The applications allow one-click trading on the move with high flexibility, which means users can make the most of the opportunities they find.
Calculated spreads on crypto pairs can be very large. In fact, a 3.5 percent withdrawal fee for basic users isn’t something that a big broker would usually offer. The broker is also fairly new, so there isn’t much to draw conclusions from past experience.
Although Investous is a 24/7 site, it is worth noting that stock markets are influenced by market trading hours – if a trade is closed for the day in a specific region, the consumer would not be able to trade in that area at that time.
Contact Details / Client Service
You can contact investment customer service by phone on + 357 2526 2513, or by email at [email protected] Users can also contact customer service representatives via the Investus website using an online form / ticket support system.
Security & Safety
Investous upgrades its software frequently to avoid potential security breaches, and encrypts all user data. And it’s thus seen as a stable, secure site.
In summary, it seems like Investous is a worthy broker to consider. It’s completely overseen by regulators, and there’s some amazing display technology that could help traders get the upper hand. It has fairly good coverage of assets, and is definitely worth checking out at least in demo form.
Investous accepts only traders from Italy, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands.
